Tasting notes

A deep ruby robe with hints of violet when young.
The nose is deep and charming, with distinct aromas of spice, red fruit, blackcurrant and blackberries, enhanced by a year's raising which intensifies the aromatic complexity.
Well-balanced, with mineral notes and smooth, carefully-mastered tannins, this cuvée has very good length and is characterised by its notes of cocoa, coffee, liquorice and red fruit.
