Vinified traditionally.
The grapes are hand-harvested at optimum maturity, sorted, destemmed and crushed.
Raised in oak vats, demi-muids and barrels for 12 months.
Each grape variety is vinified separately and raised accordingly.

Production

1,500 bottles (75cl), magnums and jeroboams.

Tasting notes

A dark cherry-red robe, and a deep yet delicate nose of red fruit, blackberries, cherries and blackcurrants.
On the palate there is great aromatic complexity, and well-integrated, silky-smooth tannins.

This wine is distinguished by its elegance and finesse: well-balanced and with great length, it features a veritable cornucopia of red fruit, coffee, mint, liquorice and cocoa, notes, as well as secondary and tertiary notes. 

Serving & Cellaring

Serve between 15 and 18°C.
Open an hour before and carafe younger vintages.
Can be aged for more than 10 years.
