2011: Exceptional
It is an essential vintage whose quality rewards the work of high precision provided by the team of the domain. Balance is the key word of this vintage.
This vintage was marked by a precipitation higher than normal but always at the right time for the vine.
Relatively dry autumn, wet winter, medium wet spring, dry summer but which was punctuated by two thunderstorms that allowed good fruit development. The harvest took place under good weather. It was later due to a higher than normal yield.
The yields were above average for our vineyard, the grapes reached full maturity without advance compared to an average year. The wines are structured with an exceptional material that gives them complexity, finesse, length and a great potential for preservation.
