2016: Very good year
A great vintage, dry and fresh, that expresses all the typicity of our cuvées, complex, balanced, dense and fresh. Vintages with a great potential for conservation.
The year 2016 was marked by a classic Mediterranean climate but punctuated by a storm at the end of August giving the vines the water necessary for optimal grape development.
The fall was consistent with both temperature and hydrometric season averages. The beginning of spring was dry and warm, but fortunately, the aftermath was rainy, which made it possible to «relax» the vines. The summer was in keeping with the average seasons and was punctuated by storms at the end of August which allowed the vines to bear the fruit when ripe. The harvest took place under good weather except for a storm.
